The Penn Global Development Initiative (GDI) seeks to enhance the University as a global player in international research, policy and development; to illuminate the potential of research universities (such as Penn) to contribute to the Millennium Development Goals -- and to enable new synergies across the Penn international community of students, faculty and staff.
